Frith Farm agreed to host our supercritical CO2 extraction pilot at their facility nearby Basingstoke UK. We look forward to work with Jim, Pete and their team at Frith Farm on extracting various exciting feedstocks that they grow.
We will be hosting a number of demo days throughout 2020 as well as accepting bookings for trials. If you would like to be updated on availability drop us a line or subscribe below.
We are happy to join the Bioket community in 2020. We plan to share our experience in clean-tech extraction technology of using supercritical CO2 as an extraction media. Thank you Tournaire for a kind invitation to their section on EcoExtractions). We also will talk about potential benefits of on-site extraction.
We also will take part in start-up village presentations where we will have a table with brochures. Come and say hi.
If you would like to meet at Bioket say hi here and we will arrange a slot. We will be there 10-12 March
Since January 2018 we are part of the EIT Climate KIC start-up accelerator; a programme designed to help emerging companies and technologies with the focus on sustainability. We happily joined other 9 start-up for an investors’ day held in South Kensington, London. We met some great names like Mustard Seed, Octopus Ventures, Earth Angel Investors and many others to share our story and explore opportunities to work together.
Thank you Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) for the opportunity and pitch our project. It has been a great experience presenting our business case of off-grid supercritical CO2 extraction for flavours and fragrance. Thank you for challenge, your interest and support. We will be running fund-raising campaign until the end of 2018, please reach out if interested in early stage clean-tech.
We had a chance to present at the HVCfP event with focus on upcycling plant waste, we spoke about extracting value from waste coffee grounds, from husks of cacao and raspberry seeds. But the list of potential feedstocks is much longer.
We are now part of the network as an off-grid supercritical CO2 extraction equipment manufacturer.
Thank you Circular Economy Club (CEC) for taking us into the family. CEC is the international network of over 2,600 circular economy professionals and organisations from over 60 countries. We at Nova Extraction truly believe in the concept of circular economy, a concept of creating future without waste. Our technology can help adding value to waste products like Coffee Grounds by extracting valuable ingredients.
If you have valuable ingredients in your waste stream and want to explore a potential of extracting them, give us a buzz!
We got great news that we will be presenting at Royal Society of Chemistry event for UK Business Angels Association. Recently we became a part of RSC Enterprise Plus network who will host an event to promote UK chemistry start-ups in April this year. This is a great opportunity for both start-ups and early stage investors to build relationships and accelerate the development of UK cutting edge business.
Finding partners is never an easy process be it live partner, business partner or an investor. Our advisor in Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) suggested placing information about our technology on EEN data base with reach to thousands partners. After a fair amount of time spent on drafting our offer went live this week: LINK.
When we first contacted Innovate UK to get an advice on potential funding for our project they gave us contacts of the Knowledge Transfer Network. KTN links new ideas and opportunities with expertise, markets and finance through their network of businesses, universities, funders and investors. The very next week we were on a long phone call with KTN discussing funding and networking opportunities for an innovation start-up both in UK and EU. We found this relationship extremely fruitful and pivotal on our journey to what we hope will be a successful innovation.
