Thank you Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) for the opportunity and pitch our project. It has been a great experience presenting our business case of off-grid supercritical CO2 extraction for flavours and fragrance. Thank you for challenge, your interest and support. We will be running fund-raising campaign until the end of 2018, please reach out if interested in early stage clean-tech.
High Value Chemicals from Plants (HVCfP) is a network of academic institutes and businesses with focus on exactly what it says in the title. It is a part of larger Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) that focuses on creating best environment for the bio-tech in UK.
We had a chance to present at the HVCfP event with focus on upcycling plant waste, we spoke about extracting value from waste coffee grounds, from husks of cacao and raspberry seeds. But the list of potential feedstocks is much longer.
We are now part of the network as an off-grid supercritical CO2 extraction equipment manufacturer.
Thank you Circular Economy Club (CEC) for taking us into the family. CEC is the international network of over 2,600 circular economy professionals and organisations from over 60 countries. We at Nova Extraction truly believe in the concept of circular economy, a concept of creating future without waste. Our technology can help adding value to waste products like Coffee Grounds by extracting valuable ingredients.
If you have valuable ingredients in your waste stream and want to explore a potential of extracting them, give us a buzz!
We got great news that we will be presenting at Royal Society of Chemistry event for UK Business Angels Association. Recently we became a part of RSC Enterprise Plus network who will host an event to promote UK chemistry start-ups in April this year. This is a great opportunity for both start-ups and early stage investors to build relationships and accelerate the development of UK cutting edge business.
We were lucky to attend Food Industry Innovation event hosted by Innovate UK in Manchester last week. Among other exciting food products like baobab drinks, amazing kambucha drink and spicy sugar free drinks, we met guys who started first saffron farm in UK, The Cheshire Saffron Company. We will see if we can use our technology helping them extracting saffron flavour from trimmings.
We are very aware that there have been no news from us for a while. Fortunately the winter hibernation is now over and we will resume regular updates.
Finding partners is never an easy process be it live partner, business partner or an investor. Our advisor in Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) suggested placing information about our technology on EEN data base with reach to thousands partners. After a fair amount of time spent on drafting our offer went live this week: LINK.
